Salary Range: Base + Commission - OTE $45,000
- 50,000/yearly
About The Current Open Role
The Business Development Centre Sales Representative
will be based at our Woodbridge or Thornhill location. The right fit will be an effective
communicator and has the ability to build strong relationships with both the
Sales team and the customers. The BDC is highly focused on Customer Retention.
As a team player, the BDC strives to develop collaborative relationships
throughout the dealership and we are looking for mature, customer first
oriented and enthusiastic candidates to help develop and grow our business.
What We're Looking For
- Provide excellent service for all inquiries via phone
and internet by answering questions and booking test drives and
appointments for customers to review their vehicle options.
- Perform Outbound calls for campaigns based on equity
position and follow up on other marketing efforts including private sales
and portfolio calls.
- Track all customer interactions, leads, and
appointments in the CRM; reschedule missed appointments and follow up on
outcomes.
- Maintain accurate customer records by purifying data,
and scheduling future contact as needed.
- Notify relevant departments of appointments, assist
with other duties, and strive to meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of vehicle features,
including of competitor brands.
What You'll Bring
- Education & Experience: Minimum College Diploma or
equivalent; 1–3 years in customer service, call centre experience is an
asset, or experience performing inbound/outbound sales calls.
- Customer Service Excellence: Strong desire to deliver
exceptional service with a proven track record or clear customer-first
mindset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written English
required, with the ability to handle challenging situations
professionally.
- Tech Savvy: Internet savvy with strong computer
skills, able to learn new software, and manage sales leads efficiently.
- Agility & Problem Solving: Quick thinker with
strong time management, adaptability, and comfort in fast-paced
environments.
- Team-Oriented Flexibility: Willing to collaborate,
pitch in where needed, and work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- OMVIC preferred or willing to obtain.
- Ability to learn technology and software solutions.
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds (Ignite) and
Dealermine is an asset.
- Experience in automotive is an asset.
