Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000/yearly
About The Current Open Role
Foss National Leasing is seeking a
detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Collections to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing
the full-cycle accounts receivable process, maintaining healthy cash flow, and
building positive relationships with our customers. This is a dynamic position
that blends high-volume transactional accuracy with strategic collections and
cross-departmental collaboration. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and
love bringing order to financial data, we want to hear from you.
What We're Looking For
- Process a high volume of incoming payments (checks,
ACH, EFT, wires, credit card) and apply them to the correct customer
accounts, ensuring accurate recording in accounting software (AS400 and
NetSuite)
- Monitor AR aging reports and proactively follow up on
past-due accounts via email and phone call, and lead collections efforts
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing
discrepancies, short payments, and disputes
- Hold orders for accounts with severe past-due
balances.
- Upload invoices and credit memos to client portals like
SAP, Ariba, Autodesk, Coupa, etc.
- Collaborate with sales, service, and logistics teams
to resolve billing disputes, and overdue payments
- Prepare AR reporting and financial statements as
required by management
- Support month-end, and year-end, close activities
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all
transactions and customer interactions
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and other
regulatory requirements
- Perform other accounting duties as required
What You'll Bring
- Over 3 years proven experience in accounts receivable
or related financial roles, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or
service-based environment.
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with -Salesforce and AS400 considered an
asset
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent
phone etiquette for customer interactions
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with team
members, service managers, and sales teams.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as
debits & credits, account analysis, and reconciliation processes
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and
attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and tight deadlines, with
strong multi-tasking skills
