About The
Current Open Role
Are you a
highly organized professional with a knack for logistics and a passion for
keeping things moving? As our Fleet Operations Coordinator, you will
take the wheel of the operational management for our Short-Term Leasing (STL)
fleet. Your primary mission is simple but critical: minimize vehicle downtime
and ensure our assets are maintained, repaired, inspected, and returned to "Revenue
Ready" status as swiftly as possible.
This role is
the heartbeat of our fleet's efficiency. You will coordinate repairs, manage
vital vendor relationships, oversee customer damage recovery, and ensure
vehicles designated for sale are processed seamlessly. If you thrive in a
fast-paced environment where your quick decision-making directly impacts
customer satisfaction and bottom-line profitability, we want you on our team.
What
We're Looking For
- Monitor
all Out of Service (OOS) vehicles daily, aggressively pushing to keep the
active OOS fleet below our target of 3%.
- Review
returned and inspected vehicles to determine required work. Coordinate
maintenance, reconditioning, warranty work, and inspections, keeping
average repair cycle times under 7 days.
- Develop
and maintain strong working relationships with repair facilities,
transportation providers, internal departments, and auction partners. Hold
vendors accountable to meeting a 90% Service Level Agreement (SLA) target.
- Ensure
100% of customer-responsible damage is accurately documented, approved,
and billed. Maximize warranty recovery opportunities to control operating
costs.
- Off-road
vehicles in Rencentric once approved for sale, complete and monitor
PAVE inspections, and maintain the OPENLANE Portal and Salesforce
cases with high attention to detail.
- Support
the STL Rental Team during peak operational seasons and high-demand
periods.
- Approve
maintenance repairs and standard reconditioning, approve standard tire
replacements, process customer damage chargebacks, and manage day-to-day
vendor communications.
What
You'll Bring
· Solid understanding of fleet
operations, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes.
· Hands-on experience or strong
familiarity with fleet management systems.
· Exceptional verbal and written
communication skills with a proven track record of managing vendor performance
and providing top-tier customer service.
· Strong organizational and
time-management skills, financial awareness, and a sharp eye for detail. You
aren't easily fazed by operational challenges like limited repair network
capacity or peak-season demands.
· An appetite for professional
development, with an interest in expanding your skills in advanced Salesforce
analytics, fleet lifecycle management, or telematics systems.
What We
Offer:
· Competitive compensation and benefits
package.
· Employee team building and social
events.
· Learning and development programs for
all team members.
· Growth potential within our
organization.
· Employee discount programs.
· Foss purchase and service program.
· Employee referral and recognition
programs.
